We'll meet at 9:45 am at Calle Trajano in Seville and head to the Salado winery. After a 30 minutes drive, we'll reach this estate located in Umbrete, where we'll learn about the wine tradition in Andalusia.
We'll enter the family estate, accompanied by an expert oenologist, to learn all the details of the wine that has been produced for years in the cellars. We'll learn about the grape harvesting process, the extraction of the juice and its subsequent fermentation to end up with the final product.
After learning all about this process, we'll taste three different types of wine. You'll find out how to analyse their nuances and the reasons that make them so unique. Then we'll leave the Salado wineries and stop in the town of Pañoleta, to learn about traditional wine in one of its restaurants. What is so special about this drink here?
